Synova is excited to announce that Clyde Munro Dental Group, the largest dental group in Scotland, has acquired Mearns Dental Practices, consisting of Mearns Cross and Crookfur Dental practice and in doing so has reached the milestone of completing over 50 practice acquisitions. The Group has continued its impressive expansion in these challenging times and now looks after the oral care of more than 430,000 patients across Scotland.

Synova initially invested in Clyde Munro in 2015 when the Group had seven practices clustered around Glasgow. Since then, the Business has expanded more than seven-fold to become the leading Group in Scotland with an excellent reputation with patients and dental associates, a truly national footprint, and offering the full range of NHS, private and specialist referral services. The Group has also benefitted from investment in market-leading systems and technology, allowing for seamless integration of new practices into the Group and enabling Clyde Munro’s clinicians to offer the latest treatments and techniques to their patients.

The Group continues to grow rapidly with a strong pipeline of future acquisitions expected to complete in the coming months, combined with organic growth across the estate.
