Synova portfolio company, Mecsia, a leading national provider of compliance-led, technical inspection, testing and maintenance services, has announced the acquisition of Glasgow and Warrington-based ECG Facilities Services (“ECG”).

The strategic acquisition will further bolster Mecsia’s growth trajectory, enhancing its regional capabilities and expanding its service offerings to clients across the UK. The acquisition of ECG strengthens Mecsia’s position as a nationwide technical services provider and expands the group to 1,200 people with a combined turnover of £200m.
